Humble Choice’s September Line-up

Did you know that Humble Bundle have a monthly Humble Choice program? For just $12 a month, you get twelve games (with this month’s selection having an estimated value of $278) that you get to keep whether you decide to resubscribe next month or not. If your interest is piqued, read on!

What is Humble Bundle?

Humble Bundle is an online store that sells PC game keys at affordable (and flexible) prices. However, unlike many other platforms that do the same, Humble Bundle gives you the option of contributing x percentage of the price you pay to the publishers and x percentage of the cost to a charity - either one of your choice (from a selection provided) or a charity of the month.

To see their full About Us section, you can check it out here.

As well as details about the charities they help support here.

What is Humble Choice (in more detail)?

As mentioned above, for a monthly payment of $12, you are sent keys for twelve games which range from indie titles to larger (sometimes AAA) titles. For the games available this month, which we will get onto very shortly, they are collectively estimated at having a value of around $278. In the last eight months, there has been an average monthly value for the Humble Choice packages of $249 - and included titles such as Xcom 2 (inclusive of all the DLCs), Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Hitman 2, F1 2019, Okami HD and Two Point Hospital to name but a few.

Once you receive the key, they are yours to keep forever, gift to another person. Or use as part of a giveaway.

In addition to the game keys, you also receive a 20% discount on games you purchase from the store, can access a library of DRM-free games (Digital Rights Management) called the Humble Trove. And a small percentage of every subscription (5%). Is paid directly to the charity of the month - a charity which is picked by the Humble Bundle team. For September, the charity of the month is the International Medical Corps. But also includes charities such as the WWF, Games Aid and Make A Wish.

What sort of subscriptions does Humble Choice offer?

Humble choice can be purchased either monthly or annually, with the annual subscriptions currently saving subscribers up to 25% off of their usual costs. Please be aware that there are three types of packages for both the monthly and annual plans. Some allowing access to all of the games (the $12 Premium package for example). And some only offering access to a reduced discount (a 10% discount as opposed to a 20% discount) and the Humble Trove (such as the $3 Lite package).
